Description of DetachPipe 5.0.9:
Add-In for Microsoft Outlook - Save, delete, compress, detach/reattach and upload email attachments - replace with a clickable hyperlink to the detached document. Reduce PST size and improve performance and reliability. Ease PST backup nightmares, and access blocked attachments.
Automatically generate attachment filenames using Placeholders such as the email subject, sender, recipient, date, folder structure, filename and extension, user name etc. Attachments can be compressed, set to read-only, and the attachment icon on emails can be retained. Attachments can be restored later.
Attachment can be deleted via the Recycle bin for safety.
Automatically handles incoming, outgoing and forwarded emails with no intervention, and no change to your business process - no retraining required!
To save disk space and reduce clutter, DetachPipe can delete detached documents when the original email is deleted.
When an email is forwarded, DetachPipe will automatically reattach any required documents, working exactly as Outlook normally would.
